The problem

Electricity prices move. Most people don't notice.

Across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, electricity is traded on the Nord Pool spot market. Since October 2025, Nord Pool publishes prices in 15-minute intervals — 96 price points per day. The difference between the cheapest and most expensive period of the day can be 10× or more. Running your sauna at the wrong time can cost five times what it would cost 30 minutes later.

Nobody has time to watch an hourly price chart. That's the problem SaveElectro solves.

📈
Prices spike unpredictably
Morning and evening peaks can push prices to 20–30 c/kWh while midday or late night may cost under 1 c/kWh on the same day.
🔌
Heavy appliances hit hardest
Sauna, EV charger, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher — these are the appliances where timing makes a real difference to your bill.
🕐
Tomorrow's prices are known today
Nord Pool publishes next-day prices — all 96 fifteen-minute slots — at around 14:00 CET every day. Most people never see them. SaveElectro puts them in your pocket.
🎉
Negative prices happen
When wind and solar produce more than the grid needs, prices go negative — the grid pays you to use electricity. SaveElectro alerts you immediately, every time.
How it works

Simple. Set it up once, let it work.

Since October 2025 Nord Pool publishes prices in 15-minute intervals — 96 slots per day across all 7 markets. SaveElectro uses this full resolution to find the precise cheapest window for your appliances, not just the cheapest hour.

1
Tell us about your household
Add your appliances — sauna, washing machine, EV charger, dishwasher — with their typical power consumption and how long they run. Takes two minutes.
2
We watch prices for you
SaveElectro fetches live Nord Pool spot prices for your country in 15-minute resolution, calculates the cheapest windows for each of your appliances, and updates your dashboard in real time.
3
You get a notification at the right moment
We send you an email or Telegram alert when the best window for your appliance arrives — or when prices drop below your threshold. You just press start.
4
Premium learns your routine
Once you set up your weekly habits — Wednesday sauna, Sunday laundry, EV charging overnight — SaveElectro plans around them automatically and advises you before you even think to ask.
Real savings

What this looks like in practice

🧖 Wednesday sauna — Finland
It's Wednesday evening. SaveElectro knows you usually heat the sauna. It checks tonight's prices and finds the cheapest 1.5-hour window is 21:00–22:30 at 0.9 c/kWh. Peak price earlier was 8.4 c/kWh. At 20:45 you get a notification: "Start sauna now — cheapest window until midnight."

Heat the sauna 3 times a week. Every session at the cheapest window instead of peak. Over a month that's 12 sessions — the savings add up to a real number on your electricity bill.
💰 Monthly sauna saving: ~€8–12/month depending on your tariff
🔋 EV charging — Norway
Your EV needs a full charge overnight. Instead of plugging in at 18:00 during the evening peak at 22 c/kWh, SaveElectro finds the cheapest 6-hour window between 01:00–07:00 at an average of 1.8 c/kWh. Same charge, fraction of the cost.
💰 Saving on a 40 kWh charge: ~€8.08
🏡 Cottage arrival — Finland
You're driving to the cottage Friday evening and want the sauna ready on arrival. You tell SaveElectro your arrival time. It calculates backwards, finds the cheapest heating window that day, and sends a notification to whoever is closest — or to you before you leave home.
💰 Sauna ready. No wasted heating. No peak price.
🎉 Negative price alert — Denmark
Strong wind overnight pushes Nord Pool prices below zero. SaveElectro fires an alert immediately — even during quiet hours — because this is one notification you always want. Run the dishwasher, charge the EV, heat the water tank. The grid is paying you.
💰 Free electricity — run everything at once
7 countries

Built for Nordic and Baltic households

Every market has its own character. We've thought carefully about what matters most in each country.

🇫🇮
Finland
Sauna culture runs deep — timing your sauna is the single biggest electricity saving most Finnish households can make. Plus cottage arrival planning, floor heating, and the highest density of spot-price electricity contracts in Europe. This is where SaveElectro was born.
🇸🇪
Sweden
Sweden has multiple price zones with significant variation — especially SE3 (Stockholm) and SE4 (south). Heat pumps and sauna are common. Smart timing saves Swedish households more than most realise.
🇳🇴
Norway
Norway has the highest EV penetration in the world — over 90% of new car sales. EV charging window optimisation is the Norwegian killer feature. Save €8–15 per full charge by timing correctly.
🇩🇰
Denmark
Denmark's high wind energy share means negative prices occur more often than any other market. With 15-minute pricing, those brief dips are now fully visible. The negative price alert is especially valuable here. MobilePay users — payment is seamless.
🇪🇪
Estonia
Energy costs are a real household concern in Estonia. The fixed rate comparison — showing exactly what you save vs a fixed-price contract — resonates strongly here. Every cent counts.
🇱🇻
Latvia
Latvia's data centre is where SaveElectro lives — Hostinger's EU-based infrastructure keeps your data secure and inside the EU. Latvian households benefit from the same real-time price intelligence as the Nordics.
🇱🇹
Lithuania
Lithuania is rapidly increasing renewable energy capacity, which creates growing price volatility. The more volatile the market, the more SaveElectro saves you.
