Live electricity prices, inside your product

Same data that powers saveelectro.com itself, so there's no separate feed to drift out of sync.

Who this is for

Companies building price-aware features on top of their own hardware or software -- smart heating and sauna controllers, EV chargers, energy management platforms, anything that benefits from knowing when electricity is cheap. If you're weighing whether to build your own price-fetching pipeline or use someone else's, this is that someone else.

What's available today

A simple API: tell us the country and day, get back live spot prices for Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania. That's it -- no account data, no user management, nothing stored on our side about your customers. Built to be dropped into existing logic, not to change how your product works.

Keys are issued directly by us, not through self-serve signup -- so the setup for your team is a short conversation, not a form. We size the usage limits to your actual scale up front rather than starting everyone on the same generic cap.

Not quite what you need?

If your use case needs SaveElectro to manage full customer/household data on your behalf rather than just supply prices, tell us -- that's a bigger conversation, and one we'd rather scope against what you actually need than guess at in advance.

Prefer a certified product instead of building your own?
If you're a household looking for automated sauna or heating price control rather than a company building one, see our Home Assistant integration for DIY, or get in touch and we'll point you to hardware partners.

Sauna & high-current heating: who to talk to

Sauna heaters and other high-current circuits need equipment rated for that load, installed by a licensed electrician -- not a generic smart plug. We're not affiliated with the companies below and this isn't an endorsement or a certification -- it's a starting point for the conversation with your electrician, who should make the final call on what's right for your circuit and local code.

Note: SaveElectro does not currently have confirmed commercial partnerships with the companies listed here.

Purpose-built for this
Sauna heaters with built-in smart control
Some heater manufacturers build WiFi/app control directly into the unit, so there's no separate relay to retrofit -- just an integration to connect. Ask your installer whether the model you're considering exposes a switch entity or API. Examples in this space: Huum (Estonia), Narvi (Finland), Harvia (Finland).
For retrofitting an existing heater
Load-rated relays & contactors
If your heater is already installed and just needs smart switching added, this is your electrician's call, not a DIY parts pick -- but categories worth asking about: smart relays designed for higher loads than a standard plug (e.g. Shelly's Pro series is commonly used in the Home Assistant community, still requiring professional installation for a permanent circuit), or industrial-grade contactors from electrical wholesalers (brands like ABB, Finder, or Schneider Electric) for heavier three-phase loads.
