Common questions

When are tomorrow's prices available? ▼
Nord Pool publishes tomorrow's spot prices every day at around 13:00 CET (14:00 Finnish time). SaveElectro fetches them automatically and notifies you as soon as they're available.
Which countries are supported? ▼
Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania — all Nordic and Baltic electricity markets on the Nord Pool exchange. Free plan supports 1 country; Premium unlocks all 7.
What are price alert thresholds? ▼
You set a price in c/kWh. When the live spot price crosses that threshold — either above (expensive alert) or below (cheap alert) — you get an alert immediately by email or Telegram. Free plan includes 2 fixed alerts (3 c and 15 c); Premium has up to 5 alerts with editable values.
Do I need Shelly devices? ▼
No. Prices, alerts and reviews work without any device. Shelly devices are needed only for automation, metering and the Price Light. Automation is in beta: connecting and setting up devices works today, and we are testing the control on real devices.
How does the free trial work? ▼
Every new Premium subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. Your card is collected at signup but nothing is charged until day 15. You get full Premium access from day 1. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged. If you do not cancel, you are automatically charged on day 15 — by starting the trial you agree to this. The trial is available once per person, and an account gets one free Premium period in total (the 14-day trial or the 14 free days with a Price Light). WhatsApp alerts start with the first payment; email and Telegram alerts work during the trial.
Can I cancel my subscription? ▼
Yes, cancel any time from Settings → Plan & Billing. During the 14-day free trial, cancellation is immediate and you are never charged. After your first charge, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your account reverts to Free — no data is deleted. Changed your mind within 14 days of the first charge? Use Withdraw from contract here in the same place: Premium ends at once and the first charge is refunded in full.
What payment methods are accepted? ▼
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via Stripe, and PayPal. No card or payment details are ever stored on our servers — Stripe and PayPal handle all payment data exclusively.
